About The Position

Legacy Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care that supports comfort and dignity for patients at the end of life. Working closely with the nursing team, the aide helps meet patients’ physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism. The position covers Richmond and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is listed at an average range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour; the final rate depends on relevant experience, qualifications, and position responsibilities and is confirmed at the end of the interview process. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current, unencumbered CNA certificate in the state where the employee will work.
At least one year of CNA experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
Current CPR certification if required by the state.
Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

Follow each patient’s plan of care to support comfort and well-being, and promptly respond to requests from patients and their families or caregivers.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding and clothing, and shampooing.
Provide exceptional customer service and work to ensure patient satisfaction.
Share knowledge with patients’ families and guide and support them in caring for terminally ill loved ones.
Maintain accurate documentation in patients’ homes and in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
