About The Position

The Hospice Aide (CNA) provides hands-on care to patients receiving end-of-life services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This full-time position serves patients throughout East Mesa and Apache Junction on a Monday-Friday schedule. The role includes providing personal care and comfort, observing and reporting changes in patient condition, documenting care, and supporting patients, families, and caregivers. Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide certification in the State of Arizona.
• Current CPR certification.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort with end-of-life care.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Empathy, patience, and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and changing linens.
• Assist with ambulation, positioning, range-of-motion exercises, and comfort measures.
• Observe patient condition, report changes, and document care accurately.
• Take and record vital signs when ordered and within competency.
• Use medical equipment safely and maintain a clean, comfortable home environment.
• Provide respite support for patients, families, and caregivers as needed.
