About The Position

Hospice of Wichita Falls is seeking compassionate Hospice Aides, C.N.A.s to join their Inpatient Night Team. Requirements

Possess a current Certificate of Nurse Aide (C.N.A.).
Ability to understand the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients.
Possess critical thinking skills.
Effective Communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

Ensure patients receive provision or assistance with personal care, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting, as part of the total care plan.
Communicate with the assigned RN for direction on the best manner to provide care.
Share daily activities and patient care provided to the assigned RN at the end of the shift.
Communicate any changes or updates in patient conditions to the team.
Document care provided to create a comprehensive picture of the patient for other team members.
Focus on the patient's greatest needs and provide 'Care, Hope, and Support for all when Illness Threatens Life.'
