About The Position

This role has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below. The position also involves promoting a safe working environment and adhering to all company safety policies and procedures to prevent injury. Employees will monitor ware for quality defects, pack at a standard rate, and perform various tasks related to production line operations and material handling. The job requires the ability to work with 30-40 lb. materials and maintain good housekeeping practices.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Ensure product safety and quality.
Promote a safe working environment.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Monitor ware for quality defects and inform the operator and/or coordinator.
Pack at standard rate.
Operate a punch.
Load conveyors and flamers.
Practice housekeeping on assigned line(s) and around machine, including mopping if necessary.
Remove scrap from around the line.
Grind and pull plastic as needed.
Make and unitize cartons as assigned.
Initial and date box labels.
Make out unit tickets.
Perform other work assigned by the Supervisor.
Work with 30-40 lb. materials.
