Med/Surg. CNA (PT, 7a-7p )
About The Position
This is a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position on the Med/Surg unit, working from 7 AM to 7 PM. Orientation is provided through a preceptorship program at Perry County Memorial Hospital. The work performed is varied in nature and requires close attention to details, accuracy, and organization skills. The individual must be able to adjust to stressful situations. Work is normally performed in a standing or sitting position with periods of physical exertion, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. The use of good body mechanics is required when lifting and transferring patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Must be current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Must be current in BLS.
Nice To Haves
- Previous clerical and/or nursing assistant experience helpful.
