About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Medical-Surgical unit, working the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires close attention to detail, independent decision-making, alertness, and skill in patient care. The nurse must be resourceful in emergency situations and capable of making pertinent decisions regarding patient care. The work involves both sitting and standing, with moderate walking. It requires periods of physical exertion and stamina to work effectively under adverse conditions, utilizing good body mechanics for lifting and transferring patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Makes pertinent decisions in relation to patient care.
• Resourcefulness in emergency situations.
