Hospice Admissions Nurse
About The Position
Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) for the Hartford Region and surrounding areas. This is a Full Time position with a 4-day work week, scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 11 am to 8 pm. The role involves delivering skilled nursing care in patients' homes, creating individualized care plans, administering medications, educating patients and families, and supporting recovery and independence. It offers greater flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful 1:1 patient relationships. The position may include backup for a day on the weekend and/or holiday rotation every 2-3 months. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program, BSN preferred
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- One (1) year experience as a professional acute care nurse
- Must have current Driver’s license and reliable transportation
