Hose Assembly Technician (12pm-9pm)
About The Position
The Hose Assembly Technician assembles, diagnoses, and repairs Cat and non-Cat hoses to customer specifications. The role involves troubleshooting failed hose assemblies, determining appropriate repair procedures, inspecting and disassembling hoses, identifying required parts, and reassembling hoses to factory specifications. The technician uses Caterpillar’s Hose Information System (HIS) and Service Information Systems (SIS), prepares parts requisitions and other paperwork, and serves as the primary customer service contact for gathering hose specifications. The listed schedule is 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Duties may include similar tasks assigned by a supervisor; major modifications to the role require Human Resources approval.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Two years of experience assembling hydraulic hoses.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to periodically lift parts weighing up to 60 pounds.
