About The Position

Miller Pipeline is seeking Directional Drill Operators and Locators experienced in safely drilling and pulling pipe. The role requires effective communication, prior experience with directional drilling operations, and knowledge of underground utilities. Operators work in the field, may travel around the area, and interact with customers to explain work procedures at worksites or residences. Requirements

• Prior directional drilling experience.
• Ability to travel around the area.
• Valid driver/operator license.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Must pass computer-based testing specific to the local customer's operator qualifications.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of underground utilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.
• Identify potential problems and develop and implement solutions.
• Enforce company policies and standard work procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations to protect the crew and the public.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
• Interact with customers to explain work procedures necessary at the worksite or residence.
• Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.
