The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH)'s Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (BHHS) oversees the City's response to viral hepatitis, HIV, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Across a range of programs and through extensive collaboration with other parts of NYC DOHMH and external stakeholders, BHHS leads testing initiatives; prevention, care, and treatment programming; epidemiology and surveillance; research and evaluation; training and technical assistance; community engagement; social marketing; policy advocacy; and racial equity and social justice initiatives. BHHS's HIV Care and Treatment Program (CTP) is the recipient of federal grants for HRSA's Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part A and HUD's Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA). CTP is comprised of five units: 1) Administration, 2) Program Planning, 3) Quality Management and Program Implementation, 4) Research and Evaluation, and 5) Housing Services Unit. The HIV Care and Treatment Program (CTP) within the Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (BHHS) is seeking to hire a HOPWA Program Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for working closely with external partners, bureau and intra-agency partners, and Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to support the planning, development, and design of HOPWA programs in the NY EMSAs and support the coordination of conditions of award and reporting requirements.
