About The Position

Jim Riehl's Friendly Honda is looking for an experienced, hard working, and self motivated Honda technician. Dealership experience is a plus. In search of someone who can be a team player. Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Honda vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Duties include performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements, as well as diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic equipment. Technicians repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering components, brakes, HVAC systems, and electrical systems while following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, documenting repair recommendations, communicating findings with service advisors or customers, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring a clean and organized work area. Automotive technicians are expected to stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training and certification while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
