About The Position

Florida One Insurance Agency is seeking a senior Homeowners & Commercial Insurance Specialist to convert qualified inquiries into properly structured homeowners and commercial insurance policies. The role focuses on maximizing cross-sell conversion, supporting profitable growth, and delivering a consistent, high-trust buying experience. The specialist will handle a steady flow of customer opportunities and balance quick-turn quotes with more complex accounts, coordinating with carriers and markets as needed. The position is onsite. Daily work includes reviewing inbound opportunities, prioritizing follow-ups, conducting consultative conversations and proposal reviews, explaining coverage, addressing pricing expectations, and keeping workflows and client files organized. Outreach and timely updates take place on weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

Proven homeowners and commercial insurance sales experience with strong closing ability.
Excellent communication, organization, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-first approach, integrity, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

Quote, present, and close homeowners and commercial insurance lines with speed and accuracy.
Explain coverage clearly to clients.
Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend appropriate limits and endorsements.
Document the rationale for recommendations.
Manage a high-volume pipeline and follow up promptly.
Maintain clean, compliant files.
Coordinate with carriers and markets to secure competitive terms and resolve underwriting requirements.
Review inbound opportunities and prioritize follow-ups.
Align pricing expectations, answer coverage questions, and maintain organized workflows.
