About The Position
Circle of Life is seeking a part-time Homemaker to join its Bemidji team. The agency provides home care services to seniors, children, and people with disabilities, with a mission to honor those it serves and help clients remain independent in their homes and communities. The role involves visiting clients at home, providing companionship and emotional support, and helping with daily routines and household tasks. The position also includes engaging clients in activities, reporting changes in their condition, and documenting visits and completed tasks.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving, customer service, or companionship roles is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes and help maintain their independence.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with daily routines, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Engage clients in conversation, recreational activities, or outings as needed.
- Report changes in client behavior or condition to the leadership team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of visits and tasks performed.
