About The Position
Elara Caring is urgently hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes. Most client visits last 1–3 hours, and caregivers may visit multiple clients each day. Weekly hours depend on client needs, the caregiver’s availability, and service area; full-time hours may not be available immediately. Availability is needed Monday through Friday within the 8:00 AM–6:00 PM time frame. Pay is $20.00–$22.58 per hour, based on certification and documented experience, with a sign-on bonus of up to $700. Bonus eligibility is based on completed, verified patient visits during the first 13 work weeks. Travel time, class or training hours, and hours marked “do not pay” are excluded. The first bonus week is the first full work week following the employee’s hire date. Care duties vary according to certification level and may include companionship, household support, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands, personal care, grooming, dressing, bathing, and additional hands-on care for qualified HHA/CNA caregivers. Mileage reimbursement is $0.72 per mile. Requirements
- Hold certification for at least one caregiver level: a qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker training certificate; a qualifying Massachusetts Homemaker and Personal Care training certificate; or a qualifying Home Health Aide certification or active CNA license.
- Have reliable personal transportation.
- Be comfortable traveling between client homes for short visits.
- Be dependable, compassionate, and comfortable providing in-home care.

Responsibilities
