Requirements

  • Previous experience in homecare, healthcare coordination, office management, or similar field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or veteran programs is strongly preferred
  • Experience supervising caregivers or direct care staff is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily homecare operations including scheduling, staffing, and service coordination
  • Act as the main point of contact for VA referrals and communication with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Coordinate intake and onboarding for new veteran clients, ensuring smooth start-of-care processes
  • Communicate regularly with VA case managers, social workers, clients, and families
  • Supervise caregivers and ensure care plans are being followed properly
  • Review documentation, visit notes, and timesheets for accuracy and compliance
  • Respond quickly to scheduling changes, call-outs, and urgent client needs
  • Help maintain compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and VA requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with local referral partners in the Houston area
