About The Position

The Home Shopping Department Manager leads daily digital fulfillment operations, customer service, and operational execution. The role oversees high-volume order fulfillment, ensuring that orders are accurate and completed on time while supporting customer satisfaction and digital sales growth. The manager coordinates picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery processes where applicable; monitors performance; and hires, trains, coaches, and develops associates. The position also ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, safety, and company operational standards. The role is based in Portland, Oregon. It requires flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature environments. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations and ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused order fulfillment.
• Deliver a strong pickup and delivery experience and professionally resolve customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate fulfillment processes, including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor performance metrics, including order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Create and manage schedules based on order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks affecting orders.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates while fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards.
