About The Position

The Home Shopping Department Manager leads daily digital fulfillment operations, ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time while supporting customer satisfaction and digital sales growth. The role oversees a hands-on, high-volume department and coordinates the fulfillment process from picking and staging through dispensing and, where applicable, delivery coordination. The manager uses department technology and performance data to support efficient operations and a seamless pickup and delivery experience.

The manager hires, trains, coaches, and develops associates; manages schedules around order volume and productivity needs; and works with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks. The role also ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, company operating standards, safety policies, and the Code of Business Conduct. The position requires flexible availability, reliable attendance, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations and ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused order fulfillment.
• Deliver a strong pickup and delivery experience and professionally resolve customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate fulfillment processes, including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor performance metrics such as order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks that affect orders.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates while fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards.
• Review performance data and take corrective action.
• Follow company safety policies and the Code of Business Conduct.
