About The Position

Albertsons Companies is hiring a Home Shopping Department Manager to lead daily digital order fulfillment operations. The manager ensures orders are completed accurately and on time, supports customer satisfaction, and contributes to digital sales growth in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment. The role oversees fulfillment processes from picking and staging through dispensing and, where applicable, delivery coordination; manages department staffing and performance; and ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and operational standards.

The position requires strong customer service, people-management, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with knowledge of retail, e-commerce, or Home Shopping operations and fulfillment technology. The manager hires, trains, coaches, and develops associates, monitors performance metrics, and works with other department leaders to address inventory issues. Availability must be flexible, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying temperature environments. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations and ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused order fulfillment.
• Deliver a positive pickup and delivery experience and professionally resolve customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate fulfillment processes, including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor performance metrics, including order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks affecting orders.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards.
