About The Position

Adams Home Services is seeking a driven and customer-focused Home Services Advisor to help homeowners find reliable energy solutions, including standby generators and other home services. This role involves conducting in-home consultations with qualified leads, assessing customer needs, recommending tailored solutions, designing and presenting proposals, and managing the sales process from initial contact through close. Requirements

5+ years of sales experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a consultative, in-home sales environment
Technical aptitude or willingness to learn home energy systems
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home consultations with qualified leads
Assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
Design and present generator and home service proposals
Manage the sales process from initial contact through close
Build lasting relationships with customers and partners
Regular driving and travel throughout the day to and from customer residences
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the day
Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers in person and over the phone
Ability to hear and speak clearly in a variety of environments
Comfortable using tablets, laptops, and mobile technology in the field
Ability to lift and carry light materials (up to 20 pounds) as needed
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying conditions
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in customer homes
Strong time management and ability to work independently throughout the day
