The Iowa Finance Authority, located in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a mission-driven professional to join our team as a HOME Program Coordinator. Through the administration of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs and funds, this position supports funding allocation, compliance, technical assistance, reporting, and systems work that directly serve Iowans and communities. The Iowa Finance Authority is dedicated to enhancing the economic well-being of Iowans. We provide a wide range of programs to support affordable housing, community development, and water quality initiatives. From helping first-time homebuyers to supporting disaster recovery efforts, IFA plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life for residents across the state. As the HOME Program Coordinator, you’ll help administer HUD-funded housing programs, including HOME, HOME-ARP, and the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF). You’ll work closely with grantees, applicants, developers, HUD officials, and internal partners to review applications, support project oversight, research regulations, analyze data, and improve program processes.
