About The Position
The Home Medication History Information Technician works under the direction of the Home Medication Information RN to help provide indirect patient care. The technician ensures the home medication information process is completed according to policy and serves as a resource to staff at the time of admission or as needed to obtain the best possible list of medications taken at home. The position is based at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia. The schedule is a modified 7-on/7-off rotation from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.: off two days, work two days, off five days, then work five days. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Current state Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician (LPT) or Pharmacy Intern (RPI), required upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital pharmacy experience.
- IV admixture experience.
- IV chemotherapy preparation experience.
- PTCB certification.
