About The Position

We are the new HouseMaster Greater Phoenix! LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED BY AN INSPECTOR (NO PRIVATE EQUITY FIRMS!)

We are a small but mighty and growing franchise, seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail- oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, and presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection of essential elements and detailed report.

Requirements

• Active Home Inspector License with Arizona Board of Technical Registration
• Capacity to use the latest inspection software, technology and techniques (HomeGauge report writer and ISN).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record, personal auto insurance
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Physically fit for climbing ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or potential carcinogens

Nice To Haves

• Certified or trained to perform Termite, Radon & Mold Inspections
• Degree or experience in construction or engineering

Responsibilities

• Complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection of essential elements and detailed report.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time.
• Write reports and communicate effectively using computer technology.
• Stay current on latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Continually develop advanced technical knowledge in Inspection standards & home building science.
• Maintain punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Work independently.
