About The Position

This is a PRN Home Infusion / IVIG RN position that is fully remote and autonomous, providing infusions in the home setting for Pediatric and Adult patients in the Lincoln, NE area. It offers flexible PRN scheduling with a need for 2-3 days per week. This role allows nurses to work outside of a traditional hospital setting in a growing specialized area of nursing, offering a work-life balance and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with patients. As a Home Infusion RN, you will provide immune globulin infusion therapies, make a difference using clinical IV experience and a personal touch, and provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. Continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion is provided, with reimbursement for eligible RN certifications such as Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN).

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current license in Nebraska and the ability to be licensed in other states.
• Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause)
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Nice To Haves

• Three years' nursing experience
• One year infusion experience
• Home healthcare experience
• CRNI or IgCN certification preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes for Pediatric and Adult patients.
• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
• Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
