About The Position

This is a PRN (as needed) remote and autonomous position providing home infusions for Pediatric and Adult patients in the Lincoln, NE area. The role offers flexible scheduling, with a need for 2-3 days per week. As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will work outside a traditional hospital setting in a specialized and growing area of nursing. This position offers a work-life balance and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with patients. You will provide immune globulin infusion therapies, utilizing your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in their homes. This includes one-on-one nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. Excellent written and verbal customer service skills are essential for interacting with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners. Continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion will challenge your skills, with reimbursement for eligible certifications like Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN).

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current license in Nebraska and the ability to be licensed in other states.
• Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus.
• Have and maintain current CPR certification.
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause).
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Nice To Haves

• Three years' nursing experience
• One year infusion experience
• Home healthcare experience
• CRNI or IgCN certification preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes for Pediatric and Adult patients.
• Use clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners using excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
• Receive continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
