About The Position

Orkin is hiring a sales representative to help homeowners protect their homes through pest control and related home services. The role involves inspecting homes, explaining findings, recommending treatment options, and selling services backed by Orkin’s expertise, guarantee, and established brand. Orkin provides paid training, career development, and tools to support employees, and no pest control experience is required.

The position offers uncapped commission and states average first-year earnings of $70,000 to $100,000 (base plus commission), with top performers potentially earning $150,000 to $200,000 or more annually. A company vehicle and gas card are provided. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and similar areas.
• Wear personal protective equipment, which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Be able to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-home inspections, from the attic to the crawl space.
• Explain inspection findings clearly and recommend appropriate treatment options.
• Close sales by demonstrating the value, protection, and long-term benefits of Orkin’s services.
• Manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation using a company-provided iPad.
• Work independently, prioritize schedules, and maximize leads and self-generated opportunities.
• Represent Orkin with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
