About The Position

At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Customer Service Representative provides telephone support to customers regarding their account activity. Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, partners with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to offer point-of-sale financing options for homeowners.

This position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role requires tracking time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to accurately observe stable and scrolling on-screen text and images.
• Ability to accurately detect verbal information and communicate verbally using a headset or speaker and microphone.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and mouse to type and make on-screen selections.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to learn additional systems, including ServLoan and Unifi.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone support for customers.
• Counsel customers regarding loan accounts.
• Document conversations with customers and actions taken.
• Process customer payments by phone.
• Perform customer account maintenance requests.
• Review and note accounts for customer correspondence.
• Perform other assigned tasks when appropriate.
