About The Position

The Team Assistant provides non-clinical support to regional team members across Care Services as they deliver patient care. The role manages agency referrals and helps ensure the information needed for patient visits is available in advance. It also manages work queues, performs other non-clinical pre-coding activities, updates the EMR, and coordinates access to care, including initial and ongoing visits as directed. The Assistant monitors reports and communicates promptly to support regional leadership and employees in the field. The position is located in Pekin, Illinois, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Medical or scheduling experience and experience working with multiple teams are needed. The expected pay is $18.80–$22.12 per hour; actual pay depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of experience in an office clerical setting or customer service environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Medical or scheduling experience and experience working with multiple teams are needed.

Nice To Haves

Three years of experience in an office clerical setting or customer service environment.
Direct experience in a medical setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
