About The Position

Mary Free Bed at Home is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in Spring Lake and surrounding areas. The role offers independent field work with support from an interdisciplinary team, a dedicated field education team, and leaders who provide mentoring and support. The position is eligible for a $10,000 first-year success bonus tied to key achievements, with additional bonus opportunities as employees grow with the organization.

The nurse performs patient assessments, manages medications, plans care, and educates patients and families about disease management and treatment plans. The role requires critical thinking, real-time problem solving, and thorough, compliant EMR documentation. The nurse travels within an assigned territory to patients’ homes, with driving expected to take approximately 20% of the workday.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the employee works.
• At least one year of RN experience and clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to spend approximately 20% of the workday driving to and from patient locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, patient-centered care to patients in a home health setting in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform patient assessments, medication management, and care planning.
• Educate patients and families about disease management and treatment plans.
