About The Position

Dependable Home Health of Tucson is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve patients primarily in the Southwest Tucson area. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful one-on-one patient care, enjoy greater independence, and be supported by an experienced clinical team. Requirements

Current Arizona RN license in good standing
Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred
Current CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

Home health, hospice, rehabilitation, med-surg, or critical care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive in-home patient assessments
Develop and update individualized plans of care
Administer medications, treatments, injections, and wound care according to physician orders
Monitor patient progress and identify changes in condition
Communicate changes and concerns with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Educate patients and families on medications, disease management, safety, and wellness strategies
Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
Supervise and document care provided by LPNs and Home Health Aides (HHAs), as appropriate
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
Help patients safely maintain their independence and quality of life at home
