Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Suru In-Home Physical Therapy•Whittier, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

Suru provides outpatient physical therapy in patients’ homes across Southern California. The Physical Therapist Assistant treats follow-up visits in patients’ homes. A licensed physical therapist completes the evaluation and plan of care and is available for questions. Plans of care are usually 2–3 visits per week for 12 weeks and are often renewed when continued therapy is appropriate. When a nearby patient needs visits, the Suru app notifies the assistant, who chooses which patients to accept and arranges visit times directly with patients. Suru handles intake, insurance, evaluations, and billing. Routine visit notes can be dictated by voice, reviewed, and submitted through the app. Compensation is per completed visit, comparable to home health, with weekly direct deposit.
