About The Position

Amazing Care Home Health provides private duty nursing, with nurses caring for one patient per shift rather than traveling between multiple patients. Shift lengths can range from 4 to 12 hours, and on-the-job training is provided for each patient. This position provides in-home nursing care to a 14-year-old female patient with a G-tube. The listed schedule is part-time on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Active LVN or RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor the patient's condition and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records using a web-based electronic medical records system.
