About The Position

Lorian Health is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist Aide (COTA) to provide patient-centered occupational therapy support in patients’ homes in San Diego South and East. The role carries out treatment plans and therapeutic exercises, supports activities of daily living, and helps patients and families learn exercises and care techniques. The position collaborates with the clinical team to coordinate care and documents and reports patient progress and changes in condition.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation. Compensation is on a pay-per-visit basis, ranging from $42 to $50 per visit depending on experience and visit type. Requirements

• State-issued COTA license.
• CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of COTA experience preferred.
• Home health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.

• Educate patients and families on exercises and care techniques.
