About The Position
Lorian Health is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist Aide (COTA) to provide patient-centered care in San Diego South and East. The role carries out occupational therapy treatment plans, supports patients with daily activities, and works with patients, families, and the clinical team to help coordinate care and promote independence at home. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation. Compensation is pay per visit, ranging from $42 to $50 per visit depending on experience and visit type.
Requirements
- State-issued COTA license and CPR certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of COTA experience preferred.
- Home health experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Document and report patient progress and changes in condition.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Educate patients and families on exercises and care techniques.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate patient care.
