Home Health Aide - Per Diem
About The Position
Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide residents with personal care, support, and companionship. The role involves helping residents with activities of daily living, observing changes in their day and personal care needs, coordinating with the Nurse on updates to Resident Care Plans, and encouraging participation in community programs and activities. This is a per diem position. The stated pay range is USD $21.75–$25.00 per hour; compensation offers may depend on experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training. The range does not include possible bonuses, additional incentives, or the value of benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Positive attitude and a love of working with people.
Nice To Haves
- Current state-required CNA, HHA, or CHHA certification; Medication Aide Certified credential is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship to residents.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents’ day and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities.
