About The Position

Maximum Care, Inc. is hiring a Direct Care Worker to support elderly people, people with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities. The role provides physical and emotional care related to illness, injury, or disability while treating participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Duties may include light housekeeping, errands, transportation, accompanying clients to appointments, medication assistance and reminders, meal preparation, grocery purchasing, personal assistance with daily living needs, and companionship. The company offers flexible schedules, with part-time or full-time opportunities. Application and training are completed through a mobile app, and face-to-face interactions are conducted via Zoom.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods.

Responsibilities

Provide physical and emotional care to participants due to illness, injury, disability, or other needs.
Care for participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation if needed.
Accompany clients to appointments and assist with or remind them about medications.
Prepare meals and purchase food.
Provide personal assistance with general living needs, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting participants.
