About The Position

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide respectful, compassionate support to elderly people, people with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities. The work includes physical and emotional care related to illness, injury, or disability, along with help with household tasks, daily living, and companionship. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods.

Responsibilities

Provide physical and emotional care to participants experiencing illness, injury, disability, or other needs.
Care for participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation when needed.
Accompany clients to appointments and assist with or remind them about medications.
Prepare meals and purchase food.
Provide personal assistance with general living needs, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting participants.
