Personal Care Aides - P/T - Weekly Pay
About The Position
BAYADA is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes in the Lancaster, Indian Land, Chester, and Rock Hill areas. Working from a written plan of care provided by a registered nurse, HHAs provide personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one client care and building close relationships with clients. Prior home health or patient care experience is welcome but not required; training is provided. Requirements

- Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist clients with range-of-motion exercises.
- Help clients with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Provide companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
