About The Position

BAYADA is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) to serve patients in the Lancaster, Indian Land, Chester, and Rock Hill areas in its ACSP Division. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the HHA provides personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one support with activities of daily living and building close relationships with clients. Previous home health or patient-care experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion (homemaker) services according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Provide compassionate, reliable, and high-quality care.
