About The Position
LaJoy Group is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Caregivers to serve Trenton, Riverview, and surrounding areas. No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training and support are provided. The role includes assisting clients with personal care and light household tasks, providing companionship and emotional support, documenting care using an app, and following safety regulations and agency policies. A criminal background check is required. Convictions and pending felony charges are not an absolute bar to employment and will be considered only where required by law, substantially related to the job, or relevant to bond ability.
Requirements
- Smartphone or device capable of downloading the app required for EVV compliance.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform other physical tasks as required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must complete a criminal background check; convictions and pending felony charges are evaluated as described in the posting.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Accurately document care provided through an app in accordance with SOM/Agency policies and procedures.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
