Home Health Aide for Trenton, Riverview and Surrounding Areas
About The Position
LaJoy Group is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Caregivers to serve Trenton, Riverview, and surrounding areas. No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training and support are provided. The role involves assisting clients with personal care and daily tasks, providing companionship, and documenting services in an app in accordance with SOM and agency policies and procedures. Applicants must complete a criminal background check. Convictions and pending felony charges are not an absolute bar to employment and will be considered only as required by law, when substantially related to the job, or when bond ability is at issue.
Requirements
- Smartphone or device capable of downloading the app required for EVV compliance.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform other required physical tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must complete a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Accurately document care provided through an app in accordance with SOM and agency policies and procedures.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
