About The Position
Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA), a nonprofit home health provider, is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse to provide home health care visits in Ocala and surrounding areas, Florida. The role involves skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes, assessment and care planning, patient and caregiver education, and coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Requirements
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.

- OASIS experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled nursing visits in patient homes.
- Complete OASIS assessments and documentation.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and safety.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition.
