About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caring and dependable Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides/Assistants (PCA), and Homemakers/Companions to provide in-home senior care in Rutland and surrounding towns. Caregivers help seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently at home. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible day, evening, and weekend schedules. Homemaker/Companion duties focus on companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and transportation; hands-on personal care is not required for those roles.
Requirements
- Caring, patient, and reliable attitude.
- Valid certification for HHA/CNA roles.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving, home care, or facility experience; preferred but not required for all roles.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- New caregivers may ask about Homemaker/Companion opportunities, which offer training.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry, and run errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Transport clients to appointments.
- Report changes in clients’ conditions to the office team.
