About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers in Burkeville, Texas, and surrounding areas. Caregivers provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to each client’s individual needs, helping seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The role includes assisting with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility, transportation, and emotional support. The company offers flexible scheduling, with full-time, part-time, weekend, and overnight shifts available.
Requirements
- A compassionate heart and a dependable attitude.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel throughout Burkeville and surrounding communities.
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage clients’ independence, dignity, and engagement.
