About The Position

Saint Therese is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide for a casual/on-call role at its Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Corcoran, Minnesota. The position provides services to residents as directed to maintain their personal comfort and safety, while supporting person-centered care across care settings. Casual positions require a minimum of four shifts per month, including weekday and weekend shifts. Site shifts are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., and 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. The aide attends at least four staff meetings annually and maintains current CPR and First Aid certifications. The facility is part of a nonprofit, faith-based senior living organization focused on compassionate care and whole-person wellness.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a home care certification training program, or successful completion of a written skills test or competency evaluation in home care, or certification as a nursing assistant in Minnesota.
• Previous caregiver experience.
• Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments.
• Dependability.
• Ability to follow orders.
• Documentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in an Assisted Living setting.
