About The Position
Join the Lower Burrell team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults in the community. As part of the home care team, you will support adults aged 55 and older in maintaining their independence by providing compassionate in-home assistance with daily living activities. This care helps participants live safely and comfortably in their own homes. The role is casual, with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per month, including one day every other weekend. Occasional support in the day center may also be required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Occasionally provide support in the day center.
