About The Position

We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Home Health Aide (HHA) to join the Cardinal Hospice team. This Part-Time Home Health Aide role is ideal for individuals looking for flexibility while making a meaningful impact in hospice care. We are needing someone consistently 3 days a week. The Part-Time Home Health Aide at Cardinal Hospice provides personal care and supportive services to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities. The Home Health Aide works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure patients receive the highest quality of comfort-focused care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to assist with patient care tasks

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Support daily living activities while preserving patient dignity and independence
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Document care provided in accordance with Cardinal Hospice policies and regulatory standards
- Uphold the mission and values of Cardinal Hospice in every patient interaction
