Home Health Aide - Hospice
About The Position
Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join their team as a Home Health Aide. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home. This is a part-time position with 20 hours per week, typically working day shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some shifts Monday through Friday and every fourth weekend. The position is located at Sentara Hospice Services in Harrisonburg, VA, serving a 50-mile radius.
Requirements
- CNA (Required)
- First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
- BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)
- Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)

- Prior Hospice or Home Health experience
Responsibilities
