About The Position

The Cypress of Hilton Head is hiring a hospitality-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Home Health Department. The role is available part-time or PRN and offers competitive pay, 12-hour shifts, flexible scheduling, and shift and weekend differentials. The CNA provides personalized care to clients in their homes, supports their well-being and independence, and helps create a safe, comfortable, and dignified home environment. The position emphasizes compassionate service, reliability, professionalism, and respectful relationships with clients and families.

Requirements

Graduate of a state-approved CNA program.
Maintain an active South Carolina CNA license while employed.
One year of nursing experience.
Current CPR certificate.
Active CNA certification.
Passion for serving others, strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliability, professionalism, and commitment to compassionate, personalized care.
Understand that the workplace is the client’s home.

Nice To Haves

One year of senior living experience.
Previous caregiving or home health experience.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate personal care to clients in their homes.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
Offer compassionate and emotional encouragement to clients.
Observe and report changes in client condition to Nurse Case Managers.
Help create a safe, comfortable, and dignified home environment.
Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.
Promote and protect members’ rights, support informed decision-making and independent expression, treat members with dignity and respect, protect personal belongings, and report suspected abuse or neglect.
