About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caring and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), and Homemakers to provide in-home senior care in Rutland and surrounding towns. The work helps seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently at home. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible schedules that may include days, evenings, and weekends. Caregivers provide companionship and emotional support, assist with daily personal care and mobility, prepare meals, help with feeding, perform light housekeeping and errands, provide medication reminders, transport clients to appointments, and report changes in client condition to the office team. Homemaker duties focus on companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and transportation; they do not require hands-on personal care. Training is provided for Homemaker/Companion opportunities, which can be an entry point for people new to caregiving.

Requirements

A caring, patient, and reliable attitude is required.
Valid certification is required for HHA and CNA roles.
Ability to pass a background check.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, home care, or facility experience is preferred, though it is not required for all roles.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
Provide medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments.
Report changes in clients’ conditions to the office team.
For Homemaker roles, focus on companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, and transportation without hands-on personal care.
