About The Position
Cura Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide to provide personalized care and support to patients in their homes. The role helps patients maintain independence and improve their quality of life through assistance with daily tasks, health observation, and companionship. This position is available part-time and full-time for the night shift, with work every other weekend only.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or as a Home Health Aide is an advantage.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
- Current or willingness to obtain Home Health Aide certification is preferred.
- Dependable transportation for traveling to patient homes.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in home health care or as a Home Health Aide.
- Current Home Health Aide certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support patients with medication reminders and light household tasks.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintain documentation of care provided in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
